The State of FOI, 2005: Four Reports

For the most part, privacy took a back seat to national security as vaguely defined terms such as “sensitive but unclassified” came more into play in the courts. And special court committees are wrestling with how much access “pajama surfers” should have. In the Congress, for a change, there is some movement, and the possibilities for new legislation greater than in recent years with the introduction of several FOIA bills.
