The New Jersey Government Records Council ruled that an economic development unit violated the public records law when it denied a citizen’s request for minutes to a September 2002 meeting. It said the Old Bridge Economic Development Corp. was “negligent and heedless” in failing to respond within seven days. It ordered the records produced for review to determine if any portion might be exempt. (5/707)
