Appeals Court Releases Some Libby Investigation Documents

A federal appeals court released grand jury documents in the investigation of I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby saying, “One can safely assume that the ‘cat is out of the bag’ when a grand jury witness – in this case (former Deputy Secretary of State Richard) Armitage – discusses his role on the CBS Evening News. ” The documents had been requested by The Associated Press and Dow Jones. Information about investigative interviews with President Bush, Vice President Cheney and White House political adviser Karl Rove were blacked out. (7/2/07)
