Sen. Jim Bunning, R-KY, has been identified as the senator who put an anonymous hold on a bill to overturn President Bush’s 2001 executive order that allows former presidents to seal their records. The White House has threatened a veto if the bill is approved by Congress. The bill was approved by the House in March by a vote of 333-93, far more votes than needed to override a veto. (9/24/07)
