The FOIA Files: A Look at How the Law Has Helped Inform

The Freedom of Information Act has helped countless journalists, government watchdogs and individual Americans obtain information about how their government operates. The Sunshine in Government Initiative, a coalition of media groups that promotes policies to help ensure the government is accessible, accountable and open, has collected hundreds of these stories in its The FOIA Files.
