Kentucky’s two attorney general candidates agreed that state law should require public agencies to release their meeting agendas 24 hours beforehand. The question, prompted by the refusal of University of Kentucky trustees to release their meeting agenda, was put to the candidates at a forum on open government issues. Republican Stan Lee said it might encourage more public participation. His Democratic opponent Jack Conway said, “What on earth is the harm?” (10/18/07)
