The Republican National Committee informed a House committee that it will not retrieve e-mails send by White House officials using an RNC address, making it unlikely that e-mails dealing with White House business during the first Bush administration term will ever be recovered. Many of the e-mails in question were sent or received by former presidential advisor Karl Rove. (3/3/08)
