Hundreds of Iraqi journalists have been forced into exile since the war started five years ago, Reporters without Borders announced in a report released on Wednesday.
The report found that the journalists, who most often fled to Jordan or Syria, have faced a unique threat because they’re targeted by various groups, including Sunni and Shiite militias, al-Qaida in Iraq, local police and authorities as well as U.S.-led forces.
A total of 210 journalists and media assistants have been killed since the war began.
