VPA workshop: “Legal Insights for Virginia Journalists”

In this Virginia Press Association workshop, media attorneys will discuss what Virginia journalists and publishers need to know to minimize their risk of legal liability. Among other segments, Lin Weeks, senior staff attorney at the Reporters Committee, will review the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and provide insights on how to maximize your chances of getting a meaningful response to your records request.
