Abigail Sintim

Abigail Sintim is the Reporters Committee’s NBCUniversal News Group Race Equity in Journalism Legal Fellow, focusing on addressing the legal needs of journalists, reporters, newsrooms, and documentary filmmakers of color. Abigail earned her law degree from Fordham University’s School of Law. During law school, she served as the diversity and membership editor of Fordham Law Moot Court, and the social chair for the Black Law Student Association. She also participated in the Federal Litigation Clinic, and interned at AMC Networks, the Federal Communications Commission, and Save the Children Federations, Inc.

Before joining the Reporters Committee, Abigail worked at a brokerage firm handling employment and federal regulatory matters. She graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations focusing on Africa and the international political economy.
