Alexis Shanes

Alexis Jori Shanes is a legal intern at the Reporters Committee. She is a rising 2L at Georgetown University Law Center and moonlights as a White House reporter for Bloomberg. Before law school, Alexis was a reporter for Law360 and The Record/NorthJersey.com, part of the USA Today Network.

Alexis earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Media and Integrated Marketing Communications, and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.
