Allyson Veile

Allyson Veile is a media litigation fellow at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Prior to joining the Reporters Committee, Allyson worked for two years as a legal fellow at the University of Georgia School of Law’s First Amendment Clinic, where she helped litigate a variety of civil rights and media law matters. Before that, she was an associate in Ballard Spahr LLP’s Washington, D.C. office.

Allyson earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2021. While there, she worked as a student attorney in its First Amendment Clinic. She earned a B.A. in government and economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018.

Admitted to practice in Georgia and the District of Columbia.
