Brooke Smith
Brooke Smith is the deputy director of Salesforce and information systems at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.
With over 15 years of experience at PFLAG in database management, web design, digital communications, and user-centered design, she is dedicated to leveraging technology to streamline organizational systems, enhance user experiences, and build meaningful connections with audiences.
Her professional background spans database management platforms such as Salesforce and Blackbaud, as well as content management systems like Drupal and WordPress. She has a track record of designing and managing seamless user experiences across digital tools, from member portals to event applications.
Brooke holds a Bachelor's degree in strategic communications and English from the University of Kansas, along with an Associate's degree in graphic design from Johnson County Community College. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her wife and two children.
