Joel Cannon

Joel Cannon is a litigation paralegal at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Joel joined the Reporters Committee from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, where he provided support to litigation teams engaged in a wide range of First Amendment issues. He previously worked for two years as a paralegal at Covington & Burling, LLP.

Joel graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2019, where he majored in biology. While at F&M, he was co-captain of the varsity men’s rowing team and tutored at the college’s writing center.
