Kris Cundiff
Kris Cundiff is a Local Legal Initiative staff attorney based in Indiana. He joined the Reporters Committee after nearly seven years of government practice in Indiana's Office of the Public Access Counselor, where he advised and assisted the public, the media, and government officials in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the state’s public access laws. In addition to clerking for the Indiana Solicitor General, he also served as a legislative assistant for the Hoosier State Press Association.
Prior to starting a career in law, Kris worked for several years as a reporter, producer, and news director for radio stations WBAT, WXXC, WCJC, and WMRI in Marion, Indiana.
Kris holds a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.
Kris currently resides in Fishers with his wife, daughter, and their dogs Lilly and Benny.
