Sonya Carson

Sonya Carson is a communications intern for the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. She currently attends Boston University’s College of Communication, where she is pursuing her bachelor’s in journalism and double-minoring in political science and philosophy.

Sonya writes for the Daily Free Press, BU’s independent student newspaper, as a features reporter and WTBU News, BU’s student-run radio news station, as a national news reporter. She is also a varsity athlete on the BU Women’s Openweight Rowing team. She is originally from the Greater Boston area.
