Edward M. Barr Speaker Series: “Protecting Journalists’ Rights”

The Edward M. Barr Foundation and the Youngstown Press Club are hosting Gunita Singh, staff attorney at the Reporters Committee, for a lunchtime talk on safeguarding journalists’ rights.
Double Exposure Investigative Film Festival
Date: Nov. 7-10, 2024
Location: Washington, D.C.
Double Exposure is the United States’ first and only film festival dedicated to investigative reporting on film. It pairs four days of film screenings with a professional symposium that brings together watchdog journalists and filmmakers venturing into investigative storytelling. The Reporters Committee is proud to be an Affinity Partner for DX Fest 24.
Senior Staff Attorney Jen Nelson will be participating at DX Fest’s Pro Bono Legal Clinic, which offers investigative storytellers lacking legal representation the opportunity to connect with experts who can knowledgeably discuss legal challenges they are confronting. Availability is first come, first serve.
